STREAMING TV DEMO

TCC recently held two "Streaming TV Demonstrations" in January in our Strum office.  The room was full of people looking to learn more about TCC's new Streaming TV-- what it is, how it works, and whether it's a good option for them.  Streaming TV is a new way to get "cable" television through an app on your streaming device, instead of a set-top box connected to an outlet.  TCC employees Sarah and Jake shared for about two hours on TCC's Streaming TV service, along with other aspects of streaming in general, such as streaming devices and other options for streaming. There are a number of "streaming" services out there.  TCC's Streaming TV is a service more like traditional cable TV service.  It is not a "library" service like Netflix or an individual channel service like Paramount+.

We understand that streaming can be confusing to many people, but we also see streaming as the future of TV so it won't be going away anytime soon.  Each programmer seems to have its own streaming channel now and are starting to move more and more shows from regular TV or cable to their streaming platform.  NFL Thursday Night Football and the college BCS Championship Games were only broadcast on streaming apps.

We encourage you to learn more about streaming, including the devices and the apps, as you may find it's not that complicated once you get used to it. If you have questions about TCC's Streaming TV, or about streaming in general, contact us!  You are welcome to stop into our office in Strum or Independence during office hours and we'll be happy to help you!.
